How to Check Which Version of iPadOS Your iPad is Using

All iPads come with the iPadOS operating system preinstalled, but depending on how you have your settings configured, your iPad may have an older version of iPadOS installed. Fortunately, it’s quick and easy to check which version of iPadOS is installed on your iPad.

Here’s how to check which version of iPadOS your iPad is using:

1. From the home screen, tap Settings.

2. Tap General.

3. Tap About, as shown below.

   

4. The version of iPadOS installed on your iPad is shown on the Software Version line, as shown below.

   

That’s it! You’ve successfully checked which version of iPadOS your iPad is using.
