How to Turn Off Amber Alerts on your iPhone

By default, your iPhone will automatically notify you when local authorities issue an Amber alert or other public safety notification. These Amber alerts can be really annoying! They always seem to be sent at the most inconvenient times and the alert sound is absolutely horrendous. Fortunately, there’s an easy way to disable Amber alerts and public safety notifications.
Here’s how to turn off Amber alerts on your iPhone:
From the home screen, tap Settings.
Tap Notifications and scroll all the way down to the end. The window shown below appears.
Switch off the AMBER Alerts, Emergency Alerts, and Public Safety Alerts features.
That’s it! From now on, you won’t receive any Amber alerts on your iPhone. Note that you might not want to disable all of the alerts as some could be useful in the event of an emergency that impacts you and your loved ones. As for us, we’ll take our chances — getting rid of the constant inconvenience of alerts is a risk we’re willing to take.
